Giorno 1 · La Valle Sacra
Come arrivare
Giorno 2 · La Valle Sacra

Antigua Casona San Blas: a family-owned boutique hotel in an old house in San Blas, the artists' quarter, a hundred metres from its church, with fireplaces in the patio and a small spa.
Dinner
Cicciolina: a lively first-floor restaurant and tapas bar near the main square, one of the Cusco favourites in our friends' guide.
Day 4 · Cusco
The day
Qorikancha, the Inca temple of the sun under a Dominican convent, then a slow walk up to the giant stone walls of Sacsayhuamán above the city.

San Pedro market: fresh juices and a set lunch at the counters among the stalls.
Dinner
Chicha, Plaza Regocijo: Gastón Acurio's Cusco restaurant, Andean dishes cooked in a modern way. An early night: the trek starts at 04:00.
